1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SARAFI website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Our Services

SARAFI provides a travel planning platform for Southern African safaris and tours. We connect travellers with verified tour operators, guides, and accommodation providers. We are a booking facilitator, not the direct provider of travel services unless explicitly stated.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

4. Bookings & Payments

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by our partner providers. Prices displayed are estimates unless confirmed in a proforma invoice. Payment terms:

  • Quotes are valid for the period specified in the proforma
  • Full payment or deposit may be required to confirm bookings
  • Cancellation policies vary by provider and will be communicated at booking
  • Refunds are processed according to the specific provider's policy

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation policies differ by tour operator and season. Generally:

  • Cancellations more than 30 days before departure may receive a partial refund
  • Cancellations within 30 days may forfeit the deposit or full payment
  • No-shows are non-refundable

Specific cancellation terms will be provided with each booking confirmation.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation. SARAFI is not liable for costs arising from uninsured events.

7. Limitation of Liability

SARAFI acts as an intermediary. We are not liable for:

  • Acts, omissions, or negligence of third-party providers
  • Natural disasters, political instability, or force majeure events
  • Personal injury, loss, or damage during travel
  • Delays or changes to itineraries beyond our control

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific booking in question.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and software — is the property of SARAFI or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

9. User-Generated Content

By submitting reviews, photos, or other content, you grant SARAFI a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display that content. You warrant that you own the rights to any content you submit.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cape Town, South Africa.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
